As part of the 2024 CWCF Virtual Conference: Unleashing Worker Co-ops for Success, CWCF is offering small grants to members who would like to host a local mixer to connect in person with those attending the Conference in their region. The grants are to cover food, drinks and any other costs you may need to host a small local gathering.
The Conference will take place via Zoom, on November 19 – 21st, between noon – 4 pm with an hour break, plus a session on November 20th from 7 – 8:30 pm Eastern Time. More information here.
With a virtual Conference, we recognize that networking opportunities are more limited. CWCF would like to help increase the opportunity for networking on the local level! A Mixer may take place during some or all of the virtual Conference sessions (like a watch party), and/or during a different time in or near the week of the Conference, November 19-21. Alternatively, the Mixer could take place ahead of time or afterward.
The deadline to apply for a grant is September 20th, and we will notify you by October 7th so you have time to promote the event. The amount allocated will depend on the number and amount of total applications.
CWCF will provide two-thirds of the amount ahead of time, and the remainder after the event, after you submit a very brief report and an invoice. The report can be just a few sentences on how it went, plus a list of participants.”
