DATES and LOCATION

The 2023 Conference is being held at the Le Monastère des Augustines 77 Rue des Remparts, Québec, QC,  from the morning of Tuesday, November 14th through Thursday, November 16th.  

The Monastère is an eco-responsible venue with exemplary sustainable development practices.  It is a beautiful, historic building which is primarily used as a wellness and yoga retreat centre.  

REGISTRATION FEES

Registration fee covers access to all on-site Conference activities, lunches on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. 

Not included are accommodations, other meals, and tax.    

Rates for Members* of CWCF, another Worker Co-op Federation, or CoopZone 

Conference fees for members are offered on a cost-recovery basis. The early-bird member registration of $155 only covers the cost of your lunches and break snacks, coffee and tea for the three days of the event.  For those members who cannot easily afford this fee, we offer a subsidized rate, upon request**. It is also available for those members sending a second or third (etc.) participant.

*Members’ rate applies to Regular, Associate, Regional Federation and Developer Members of CWCF or of other WC Federations, and all members of CoopZone.  

**You must email Kaye at communications@canadianworker.coop in order to obtain the code for the subsidized fee for members. Subsidized rate also applies to second and third etc., members from the same co-op, if you obtain the code.

NOTE: non-profit organizations not eligible for CWCF membership may be eligible for the member rate. Please contact us.

INTERPRETATION

We are able to offer simultaneous interpretation.

TRANSPORTATION

Car-pooling:

Some individuals in Ottawa, Montreal & other nearby regions may be carpooling to the Conference; please indicate on the registration form if you are interested in

joining or starting a car pool.

Other ground transportation:

There is both bus and train service to Quebec City.

Air Transportation, & Ground Transportation from the Airport: 

The Quebec City Airport is about a 20-minute drive to the Monastère. It is also possible to

take transit which takes just under an hour.

PARKING: Some parking is available on site for $22/ night plus tax.

Transportation Subsidies:

Worker Co-op Members: A transportation subsidy is available to CWCF worker co-op members to assist them to attend.  This amount will be approximately 1/2 the Economy Basic airfare cost. If you require this subsidy, please indicate this on your registration form. Please book early, as the individual subsidy, and possibly the number of subsidies, will be limited.  

CWCF will also subsidize the cost of car-pooling, train and bus tickets, upon request.
