Registration FAQs

Where is the Conference being held?
All Conference activities are hosted at the YWCA Hotel in Vancouver, BC from Thursday, Nov. 17th until Saturday, Nov. 19th. Select Workshops and the AGM also free to attend online on Friday, Nov. 18th.

What is the cost to attend?
    EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION EXTENDED UNTIL OCTOBER 7th
       – CWCF Members: $70/day or $175 for full Conference pass
       – Non-members: $162/day or $450 for full Conference pass

    OCTOBER 7th – NOVEMBER 9th
       – CWCF Members: $90/day or $220 for full Conference pass
       – Non-members: $180/day or $500 for full Conference pass

Is there funding available to allow members of my organization to attend?
Yes, CWCF offers subsidized registration rates for members of worker co-op members with financial barriers, or for multiple members registering from the same co-op. Contact Kaye at communications@canadianworker.coop to inquire.
Limited transportation subsidies are also available to CWCF members, for approximately 50% of Economy Basic airfare costs, or for car-pooling expenses. Please indicate your interest in receiving a travel subsidy or in car-pooling at registration.

Can I attend just part of the Conference?
Yes, it’s possible to register for individual days of the Conference, for the entire weekend, or to participate in select Workshops remotely online.

Is it possible to attend the Conference remotely?
Yes, two Friday Workshops and the CWCF AGM are FREE to attend virtually.

Can I attend if I’m not a member of CWCF?
Yes, individuals who are not members (or members of members) of CWCF are also welcome to attend!
Nonprofits not eligible for CWCF membership may also qualify the membership fee rate. Contact Kaye at communications@canadianworker.coop to inquire.

What accommodations are available?
CWCF has reserved limited rooms at the Vancouver YWCA Hotel from Wednesday, Nov. 16th – Saturday, Nov. 19th, at either $55.69/night (per person in a shared double room) or $91.13/night (single room).
Participants may also book accommodation independently at The Sandman Hotel, the Hampton Inn and Suites, on AirBnB,  or at other hotels near the YWCA.
Billets in Vancouver may also be available. Please indicate your interest in hosting or staying as a Billet at registration.

Will there be simultaneous interpretation available?
We regret that we are not able to offer simultaneous interpretation, but may be able to offer whispered, personal interpretation (English-French), upon request.
