2020 Arts and Culture Grant Project

The $1000 grant for a youth-based arts and culture project was awarded to the Social Justice Co-operative of Newfoundland, a group committed to raising the profile of co-operative approaches to economic and social development in Newfoundland and Labrador. With the support of the grant, SJCNL commissioned local freelance artist Molly Margaret (age 25) to create 2020 Arts and Culture Grant Project

Canadian Co-operative Investment Fund

  The Canadian Co-operative Investment Fund (CCIF) is a new $25 million fund dedicated exclusively to bridging financing gaps for the co-operative sector in Canada. CCIF provides loans, equity and quasi equity ranging from $50,000 to $1.25 million per transaction. CCIF can work with co-ops in all provinces, territories and sectors. CCIF focuses on supporting Canadian Co-operative Investment Fund

Eyemole Creates Project Explaining Worker Co-ops to Youth

Update on the Investment Readiness Program

CWCF is pleased to announce that after reviewing the six submissions received, it has decided on the winner for this year’s arts and culture grants. Eyemole Arts and Technology Co-operative received a $1000 grant, funded through a bequest from the late CWCF President Mark Goldblatt, to create an online interactive story about the history of Arts and Culture Grant Winner Chosen
