We are hiring a Researcher and Project Coordinator for the International Centre for Co-operative Management at Saint Mary’s University, Halifax, NS, Canada.
This is a 15 months contract position that starts as soon as possible, and has the possibility of continuation. The position can be based at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, or a remote work location is possible. The position may require some travel (e.g. Canada, the US, and Europe). The position is available immediately, and the start date has some flexibility based on the chosen candidate’s availability.
The successful candidate is a research professional who has worked in, or takes a serious interest in, the co-operative sector (including credit unions and mutuals) or the social solidarity economy more broadly. They must have a solid understanding of this sector and an appreciation for the value of the co-operative enterprise model in creating, building, and sustaining co-operatives toward the vision of a co-operative economy.
