CWCF’s Conferences can always be counted on to deliver great presentations, workshops, and networking opportunities. This year, however, features an additional draw, courtesy of the Conference’s location in Quebec City: tours of the city’s dynamic worker co-op scene, which will visit four local enterprises. It’s one of the many parts of this year’s Conference you won’t want to miss, so register now for your chance to participate.
- La Coop de Yoga is run by three dynamic yoga teachers who were work colleagues, developed a great team spirit and wanted to create a yoga studio that reflects their values of equality, sharing, reciprocity and solidarity. The co-op strives to make the practice of yoga affordable and accessible for everyone.
- MamboMambo is a multidisciplinary team that works in branding, printed design and the design and development of websites, relying on collaborative working methods. They act as collaborators with clients to advise on a common goal: creating a remarkable brand.
- La Boite à Lune is a queer-owned tattoo co-operative.
- After our keynote presentation, be sure to join us for a visit to a fourth local worker co-op, the microbrewery La Barberie, a pioneer brewing cooperative in Québec, recognized by artisan beer lovers far and wide.
