Presenter bios

Daniel Brunette
Daniel Brunette joined Co-operatives and Mutuals Canada in 2019. He is Senior Director, External Affairs In his role, he engages with various federal government stakeholders to advance the co-operative economy and works with a broad spectrum of organizations to raise awareness, remove obstacles, and leverage opportunities. In addition, his role includes oversight on research that CMC is involved with and scholarships programs. Daniel has more than 20 years of philanthropic management and stakeholder relations experience with non-profit organizations.

Nancy Wanye
Nancy Wanye is a public affairs professional with extensive experience at the intersection of public policy, advocacy, strategy and business. She excels in stakeholder engagement, communications, research and analysis. She has a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives, managing complex projects and leading through relationships for impactful organizational outcomes. Nancy holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta.
