*Who we are looking for:
This position would offer 2-4 shifts a week with extra shifts available as needed.
Ideally we are looking for folks with an open and flexible schedule who can work 2-4 of the following shifts while picking up shifts when coverage is needed.
Monday 8 to 1:30/1:30 to 7
Tuesday 8 to 1:30/1:30 to 7
Wednesday 2 to 9
Thursday 7am to 2pm
Friday 7am to 2pm
Saturday 7am to 2pm/2 to 9
Sunday 10 to 6
Flexibility with scheduling would be highly valued.
Experience in kitchen work and customer service would be a huge asset. An open and friendly demeanour alongside a willingness to learn and attention to detail are a must.

We are a worker owned and operated co-op in the heart of Wolseley with a deep focus on local, organic and sustainable offerings. In addition to our grocery and home and body products, we have a vegan deli on site where all of us workers begin our time at OP. It’s a structured yet creatively open deli where you will be baking, cooking and prepping all kinds of delicious goods and running a clean, organized and efficient kitchen. A worker with Food Safety certification would be great.
This is a permanent position and is great for anyone who thrives in a team environment, takes initiative and is comfortable working independently, is reliable and has a solid work ethic, wants to grow and contribute to the co-op and likes to be challenged and active at work.
Starting wage is $16.50/hour with an increase to $18 upon offering of membership at the 9-12 month mark.
We are seeking folks looking for long term work (minimum 1 year) with the intention to become a deeply involved, hands on member who brings fresh ideas and new perspectives to shop operations.
